Voxels and grey number prediction

I am trying to put together 4 clouds representing the same model which I have done in CC but with deviations. The idea is to merge these together and split the merged cloud into voxels, then by using grey number theory representing each voxel with a singel grey number instead of the points. Does anyone know how to devide a cloud into voxels and receiving coordinates for each one? Either in CC or matlab.

Interesting... The Cross Section tool can segment one cloud (or several clouds with the latest 2.9 beta version), for instance inside a small cube, and repeat the process systematically in all directions. See http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... r_contours.
