Hi Daniel, I need your help!!
You said here http://www.danielgm.net/cc/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1032
"Well if you can measure the actual "distance" (unitless) between two points (with the Point Picking Tool for instance), you should then be able to find the right scale factor to convert your cloud in cms (simply use the 'Edit > Scale' tool to do that). Once that's done, all your measures will be in cms."
And I have two questions:
1) In CloudCompare, In "Edit" I don´t find "Scale". Can you explain this? I know the distance between two points (0.005 ( unknow units)), and I have to change the scale for Cms but I don´t find where picking.
2) How can I know the radius of the points in CloudCompare? I pick some points and i don´t have this information.
Thank you so much.
HELP (radius and Cms)
Re: HELP (radius and Cms)
1) It's now called 'Edit > Multiply / scale': http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... iply/Scale
And the point picking tool documentation is here: http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... nt_Picking
2) Not sure what you call 'radius' of the points? If it's the size, then you can either change the default point size by using the interactors that appear in the top-left corner of the 3D view when you hover the mouse in this area, or for each cloud you have a 'point size' field in its properties.
