Hello!
I'm currently working on aligning some point clouds by picking point pairs, and for orientation reasons it would be great to change the rotation center of the scene during the point picking process. At some point, I somehow managed to do this (one of the already defined points was the rotation center then), but this was rather by accident and I cannot reproduce how i did it... so I am wondering how this is done?

You can use the 'Pick rotation center' icon anytime (it's the 4th icon of the left toolbar). If you use a recent version make sure the icon below (the same cross with 'auto') is deactivated. Otherwise it will automatically change the center of rotation to the point at the center of the screen.

And with the 2.9+ versions, you can also double click on any point to change the rotation center (it works better with the latest 2.10.alpha version).
