I am having some problems using zfs files

Post by kevinbrosss »

Hello,
yesterday I collected some data using a Leica HDS7000. The files that I obtained have a zfs format. However, I haven't been able to open such files via CloudCompare (CC). Do I need to transform them into another type of file or is there any kind of procedure that I need to take into consideration in order to work with them using CC?
I'm new at this, it would be really useful any kind of help.

Thank you in advance

Indeed, zfs files are proprietary (and contrarily to Faro or Riegl, Z+F sell their SDK?! :D). You'll have to export the cloud to any other supported format (e.g. PTS, PTX, PLY or E57?).
