Rookie Here, quick question

Post by frostbite86 »

Hello everyone, I'm just learning how to use CloudCompare. I have been working with UAVs to map out an are and using the pictures taken for photogrammetry. Mostly I've been using the data for orthomosaics and also the elevation data.

Since processing the images gives me 3D data in the form of the dense point cloud, I would like to be able to show clients the product in a simple way. I heard that CloudCompare can do 3D flythroughs of the dense cloud as a video. I've tried to do this but failed and I can't find any specific tutorials on how to get a 3D flythrough.

Could anyone shine some light on this for me? Even 3 steps would be very helpful to point me in the right direction!
