Saving indices for closest distance points in Command line

Hello Danial,
Let me first mention that it is an amazing work that you have done. It helps me a lot in my research work. I want to ask if there is any way in the command line to save the indices of closest points from compared point cloud that have been used to compute the nearest distance in the reference point cloud. I have seen in GUI that there is an option in the distance computation "Closest Point Set" that gives only the closest points. Is it possible in command line? For me, the goal is to compare the deviation of the normals for the points that have been used in closest distance computation. I need to know which two points are used in distance computation to get their associated values of normals for deviation computation.
I hope I explained my question in the right way.
Thank you for your help
