I use ubuntu 16.04 LTS. After I install cloudcompare. I want to transform mesh to point cloud. However, when I use the command line, it doesn't work. May I ask how to config ./bashrc or some file to use this?

Code: Select all

CloudCompare -SAMPLE_MESH POINTS 1000000
CloudCompare: command not found

First you probably have to change the current directory so as to be in the same directory as CloudCompare executable.

Then you also have to open a file before sampling the mesh (with '-O').
