point cloud wont open

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new user to CC, which is a great programme. But I have been having an issue with opening point clouds. I am working on photogrammetry models and have created some .dxf files from dtm models using 3DM Analyst software. I need to import the point cloud into CC to generate a raster file. But for some reason when I try to import the point cloud, the software just doesn't do it and eventually crashes. Maybe the file sizes are too large (circa 2,000,000,000kb)?

Struggling to figure this one out, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't you have other exchange file formats than DXF?! (this is a terrible format, super slow to read and huge). I would bet that the problem indeed comes from the file size... Do you know how many triangles the mesh has?
