Transform viewport

I have a very large model with a number of viewports saved as objects.

I find I need to transform a part of the model - all the graphical parts are easy but I can't find a way to transform the embedded viewports.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Sadly I don't think viewports can currently be 'transformed'...
