Scattering Angles in Commandline

Hi!
Longtime CC user and lover of everything it has to offer, but, surprisingly this is the first time I have posted here.
Background: I use the commandline version of CC very often in different processing pipelines for laser scanning data. The one thing that would be super useful and doesn't seem too complicated to implement would be a Scattering Angle functionality in the commandline from gridded point clouds (ptx, etc.). I put together an R script that does this automatically, but R is crazy slow (a single cloud of ~26 M points takes ~3-5 min), so CloudCompare would increase processing speed by orders of magnitude. My tests in the GUI show me that this processing should only take a few seconds.
Maybe I'm missing a workaround, but it would be amazing to have Scattering Angle calculations as an option in the commandline version of CloudCompare.
Thanks again,
Atticus
