Fitting 360 Imagery to Cloud

Hello CC Community,
I'm attempting to overlay a panoramic image onto a point cloud, and have observed noticeable errors between the pano and the reference cloud. I'm taking the panos with a tripod and lens centric rotator and using PTGui to stitch the imagery (which reports very good alignment). I'm not aware of much more that I can do there to improve the accuracy of the images. Does CC have any image/cloud fitting features or plugins, or can you recommend another program that may be capable of this?
Thanks,
Aaron
