Virtual camera in CloudCompare

Hello (Daniel),
I am interested in using CloudCompare to create a virtual camera. I would like to replicate the view from a real camera on a real scene with a virtual camera on a point cloud. The real camera comes with some radial distortion.
The first question I have is about the field of view value (see attachment FOV.jpg). I have set up this camera to have a FOV of 42.3 deg. Is this the horizontal, vertical, or diagonal FOV? On the options you indicate vertical (see attachment FOV_Options.jpg). This doesn't seem to reconcile with what I have in another program that also uses virtual cameras. What about the FOV when adjusting the current camera? (see attachment FOV_camera.jpg) If I remember correctly, through trial and error, I found that this was the diagonal FOV.
Finally, is there any way to bring in distortion, or is this for future use? (see attachment distortion.jpg)
Thank you.
