Oculus or other VR

I am trying to determine if it is still possible to use CloudCompare with some kind of VR headset. I know in the past there was support of Oculus Rift, but it appears that is no longer sold. Can you still use CC with an old Oculus Rift, or should I think about buying something different? This is critically important to me because I think using a VR headset would solve a problem I have. I have been working with using point clouds as a base for 3D geologic studies, and the computer screens are hard to read outdoors, particularly with 3D perspective visualizations, and I was hoping to solve with with the VR headset. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

We should wait for other users to chime in, but I believe some were able to use CC with more recent Oculus headsets. I just don't know which one exactly, and how...
