I have two questions.
Is it possible to import autocad files that contain polines and text to cloudcompare?
Is it possible to set a local coordinate system to the cross-section of the point cloud in cloudcompare?
AutoCAD and local coordinate system.
Re: AutoCAD and local coordinate system.
Hi,
When importing a DXF file, polylines should be imported (if they are only composed of straight segments, curves are not supported). But text won't be imported.
And there's no concept of 'local coordinate system' in CloudCompare. But with the 'advanced' button of the Cross Section tool, you can input the 'coordinate system' of the section. Maybe that's helpful?
