Merge of two clouds

Hello.

I've been trying to figure out one thing for a long time. Situation is in tunnel. So you dont have a flat point cloud.
When drilling a tunnel, after blast a new 5m section is scanned. Then this section is sprayed with shotcrete. At the next drilling and blast, a new scan is made. On the new scan, is also scanned the part where there is already concrete. My task is to connect the two scans so that there is only rock on both. So I have to remove the concrete from the new one. And from the old scan I have to remove face or rock whith were removed during the new blast.

Until now, I have done so by creating a TIN model from the clouds in another software. Next, I combined these models in CC using the CSF filter and extracted points from it (it works flawlessly). The problem is that my method only works with small data. If the dxf is more than 100MB, is problem a load data in CC. In cloud compare, you cannot make a TIN model, only models using the poisson method (where the edges of the polygons do not contain real measured points).

Is there any method that could be used for this problem only in cloud compare, please?

I guess the 'Delaunay 2.5D' mesh creation method is a no go since you have a tunnel... How do you create your TIN model exactly? (with which software, and can you give us an example of the output TIN model?)

Yes, Delaunay 2.5D does not work in this case.
I created the TIN model in the cyclone 3DR using the 3D mesh function.

Sadly I don't see how to reproduce this result in CloudCompare...

Can't you export the mesh to another file format with Cyclone?
