Cut 1.3 above irregular ground

Hi, everyone.
Does anyone have any idea if I can manage a way to cut a pointcloud 1.3m above an irregular ground? I need to calculate the DBH of some trees but they are in a non-plane surface so I can´t simply cut everything with a plan. Don´t know if CloudCompare can do that.
Thanks!

It's not straightforward, but there's maybe a way. If you have a TIN or a cloud that represent the ground (you can compute it with the CSF plugin as well, but it would be better to mesh it afterward). Then you can use Cloud/Mesh Distance computation tools to compute the distances between the original cloud and the TIN/ground mesh. You can eventually segment the original cloud based on the resulting distances (Edit > Scalar fields > Filter by value). It's not exactly the vertical distance above the ground (as it's a 3D distance), but it shouldn't be too far.
