Hello all,
Thanks again for this wonderfull software.
I used the Extract cloud sections along polyline with a 3D polyline (double curvature) drawn by picking point on the cloud. I can extract nicely the sections envelopes and cloud sections that are in 3D (still along the polyline and perpendicular to the polyline).
Is there a way to project all those polylines on a plane ? When I try the unfolding it unfolds only the cloud sections, and not perpendicular to the polyline but along an axis (Z).
Thank you

Yes, the 'unfolding' option is for the cloud (see https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... a_polyline)
And sadly I don't see an easy way to project the polylines on a plane.
If you want to project them on the XY plane for instance, you could select the vertices of the polylines (once exported - and you can right click on the parent group and use the 'Select children by entity or type' option). Then use 'Edit > Multiply / scale' to set all Z coordinates to 0 (for instance).
