Hi all, Super new here and just diving into cloudcompare.

Just a quick hurdle I can't seem to find a solution to, I've seen it posted on this forum by Daniel a few times about clouds with issues aligning, which he advised to trim and align the clouds, then you can copy the transformation history onto a new scan or the cloned scan before slicing.

I can't seem to align my big scans with the transformation history I copied from the cut aligned scans.

I swear I'm missing something easy, your help is appreciated.

So the transformation history can only be used if you haven't applied any other transformation before (like manual transformation, or previous registration attempts). Otherwise, you'd better simply copy the transformation matrix of the latest registration step from the Console (F8).
