Hey all, im a big fan of the program and im trying to get it implemented it more, however there is a legal requirement for some projects i work on, that when working the customers model, their logo and sharing information must be displayed at all times. This is so if you were to screenshot or print at any time with their product on screen, the restrictions on use are visible.

I have good experience with programming, i would just like to be pointed in the right direction to start this task. I would need to add a splash screen when starting the program, and a watermark to the bottom of the viewer.

Ah ah, that's not really how people should use CloudCompare ;). Especially not changing the splash screen (that would be very deceiving). At best you could create a plugin that automatically starts when CC starts (that's already technically possible) and that overlays a custom logo somewhere (in a 'always on top' mode). That's the only way we could officially support/accept.

Moreover, CloudCompare is under the GPL license. If you modify it, you have to share these modifications with the community. And there are also rules for how you can distribute any altered version of CloudCompare.
