Mesh exports appear to be sliced

Hi

I've been using CC for over a year now, taking LiDAR scans, creating meshes with PoissonRecon, and exporting those to OBJ.

Since the beginning my exports appeared "sliced" as seen on the screenshot below, but I always thought it was just the software I was using after that had a poor 3D renderer.


Here is how it looks like in CloudCompare before exporting.


But a few days ago I noticed that even in MeshLab it looked the same. On the screenshot we barely recognize the house.


Do you have any idea on why could cause my exports to be looking so bad ?

Your coordinates are probably too long for Meshlab to handle. Try to set the Global shift to X=0 and Y=0 and resave the OBJ file.
