CloudCompare not responding when trying to use the alignment tool

Hello.

I am a new user of CloudCompare. I downloaded the v2.6.2. I am trying to align two points, but the software keeps on crashing or not responding. I think it has something to do with my graphic card, which is IntelHD Graogics 620. What should I do?

I guess you didn't use the latest 2.12 or 2.13 versions because it was not running? If not, then you should definitely try them ;)
