ICP , data scalar field as weight

Hello,
Regarding the advanced ICP parameters "Use displayed model/data scalar field as weights" and "Enable farthest point removal", are the formulas of these documented (or available) anywhere?

So far I've only found a reference to the ICP algorithm used (viewtopic.php?t=4967) but there is no mention of weights in the paper.

Ah probably not... you would have to look at the code.
