point picking CC Viewer

Is it possible to do pointPicking in CCViewer?

Yes, but only single point picking works: use the shortcut 'SHIFT + left click'

And can you save those point coordinates in some way?

Nope, ccViewer is really only meant to 'view' datasets.

But you can do the same in CloudCompare, and save everything as a BIN file (and then later load this 'project' in ccViewer).
