Yes, if you manage to convince FARO to let us use their SDK ;). I've tried but they didn't even bother to answer...

I've had the same experience... I've reported some bugs in FARO SCENE (with clear steps to reproduce) and offered to help with narrowing them down or testing and they were not interested/non-responsive. I would think that any organization would jump at the chance to work with a developer to help them fix bugs!

Sadly no... This one is an "empty shell" that has to be installed on the user's PC. We need the one that makes the "3rd party software [...] capable to read FARO Laser Scanner data".
